TAFE (VET) in schools
Vocational education and training (VET) in schools is nationally recognised training that is available to senior students as part of their normal school curriculum. More than 90 per cent of South Australia's secondary schools with senior students now offer VET. In South Australia, many schools link with TAFE SA to offer a variety of VET options to their students. The Youth Pathways and Partnerships Administration Centre contacts are the key TAFE SA staff to assist with initiating:
- VET in School Agreements (VISA) VISA Schedules
- Accredited and non-accredited training programs
- Tertiary presentations and school careers nights
- Campus tours for groups of school students
- Other strategic initiatives involving young people.
- Contact the Youth Pathways and Partnerships Administration Centre for all VISA Schedule documents.
